Your agent. Your Workspace.

Bring the agent you already use.

Keep your projects, files, and work in Clanker Workspace. Let Claude, ChatGPT, OpenClaw, Hermes, or another compatible agent work with them through a connection you control.

Create an account or connect an agent

One account, one connection.

  1. Create an account or sign in at Workspace. Your existing Cloud Portal account works here too.
  2. Add this remote MCP server URL in your agent.https://workspace.clankercloud.ai/mcp
  3. Follow the browser sign-in prompt, check the client and callback, and approve its permissions.
  4. Ask the agent to list your projects, read a file, and save a small result. Open Workspace to review it.

You choose the access.

Read

Projects, files, conversations, Agents, knowledge, job output, and available plans.

Edit

Create and update files and conversations, and delete saved work.

Configure and run

Configure projects, Agents, skills, workflows, and schedules. Run hosted commands that can use files and the network and consume credits.

Plan checkout

Prepare plan checkout and check subscription status. Payment confirmation happens in Stripe. This optional permission is independent of editing and running commands.

Start with read access and approve additional permissions when needed. Plan checkout starts unchecked in consent, and existing connections never gain new permissions automatically. Access applies across your Workspace within your existing permissions.

Disconnect an agent at any time from Settings → External agents. Connections expire after 30 days; work already queued may continue. Full account access, billing-portal access, subscription cancellation, and secret-management APIs are excluded.

Set up your client.

Claude

Open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector and enter the Workspace MCP URL. Choose Sign in now and, when offered an OAuth client choice, Register automatically. Review permissions in Workspace and enable the connector for your conversation. Organization policies may control who can add connectors.

ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server. Enter the Workspace MCP URL, configure OAuth, and complete browser authorization. Create the plugin and select it with @ in a new conversation. Account and organization policies apply.

OpenClaw

Start with read access. Save a Streamable HTTP server with OAuth enabled, then run the login command and approve access in Workspace.

openclaw mcp set clanker '{"url":"https://workspace.clankercloud.ai/mcp","transport":"streamable-http","auth":"oauth","oauth":{"scope":"workspace:read"}}'
openclaw mcp login clanker
Optional: enable plan checkout

Request read and billing access, log in again, and select the checkout permission. This configuration does not request edit or execution access.

openclaw mcp set clanker '{"url":"https://workspace.clankercloud.ai/mcp","transport":"streamable-http","auth":"oauth","oauth":{"scope":"workspace:read workspace:billing"}}'
openclaw mcp login clanker

Hermes

Add this server to your Hermes configuration, then run hermes mcp login clanker. Hermes opens the browser for authorization.

mcp_servers:
  clanker:
    url: "https://workspace.clankercloud.ai/mcp"
    auth: oauth
Official Hermes setup

Other clients need Streamable HTTP MCP and OAuth with PKCE. Request workspace:billing only when you want subscription status or plan checkout. Exact setup and availability depend on the client version and account policy.

Watch your agent and take over.

Before changes, your agent starts a managed Session and saves visible progress. Open Sessions to watch. Take over stops the task and disconnects its MCP connection, so you can continue with the saved conversation and files.

Agents can manage Planner tasks and create App drafts. A draft does not build or publish an App. Hosted commands and image generation use credits and need execution permission.

Managed Session instructions

Use a terminal or curl.

Browser-approved terminal login supports password, Google and GitHub accounts. Compare the code in your terminal and browser before approving the separate account login.

Let your agent prepare a plan purchase.

  1. Ask your agent to list the available plans with workspace_list_plans.
  2. Choose a plan, reconnect with the optional plan checkout permission, and ask your agent to prepare checkout for your existing account.
  3. Open the hosted Stripe checkout, review the plan and payment details, and confirm the purchase there.
  4. Ask the agent to check subscription status after payment.

The agent uses workspace_prepare_plan_checkout with your chosen plan and a stable idempotencyKey, then workspace_billing_status to verify the result. Preparing checkout does not itself buy a plan. Keep payment details in Stripe.

Work you can inspect.

Read and update project files, organize sessions and knowledge, configure Agents, and run hosted commands. File edits check revisions. Commands return durable jobs so your agent can check the result after an interruption.

Appending a saved session message records it; it does not launch a Clanker model conversation. Your external agent carries out the work using the tools it is given.
